EcoVoyager was born from a simple realization: the journeys worth taking are never found on the well-worn tourist track.
The moments that stay with you come from a guide who grew up on the land, a village that never made the map, and a connection that cannot be packaged or mass-produced. Alexander Davis founded EcoVoyager in 2024 to make those moments findable again.

We shape each journey around the traveler, drawing on a vetted network of local guides, drivers, and conservation partners, and keeping the value of every trip with the communities that make it possible rather than large corporations.

Two kinds. Our curated tours follow set itineraries with published prices, so you know the cost up front. Our custom trips are private and built entirely around your interests. Both take you to remote, lesser-traveled destinations.
We focus on remote, off-the-beaten-path destinations across the globe, including places such as Bolivia, Guyana, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Mongolia, Namibia, and Tajikistan. If you have somewhere specific in mind, just ask.
No. We do not book international flights, cruise ships, or luxury hotels. We are an adventure travel company specializing in off-the-beaten-path destinations. We design and run your trip on the ground, drawing on a vetted network of local guides, drivers, accommodations, and conservation partners.
Curated tours have set, published prices. Custom trips are priced individually based on where you go, how long you travel, the size of your group, and the activities involved. We are not a budget operator. What you pay reflects experienced local guides, carefully chosen accommodations, detailed planning, and a direct contribution to conservation.
Through conservation partnerships and community-based tourism. A portion of every trip goes to a conservation or community initiative in the country you visit, and our model ensures that money reaches the people who make these journeys possible rather than large corporations. We are members of ATTA and the GSTC.
It starts with an inquiry and a short discovery call. For custom trips, a non-refundable $200 deposit covers itinerary development and is applied to your final trip cost. A 25% deposit then confirms your booking, with the balance due 90 days before departure. You can pay by card, bank transfer, or wire.
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for every trip and must cover trip cancellation and interruption, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal property, given the remote nature of our destinations.
Cancellation fees depend on how far ahead of departure you cancel, ranging from a full refund less a small administration fee at 91 or more days out, to no refund within 14 days. Some supplier costs may be non-refundable, and a flexible booking policy may apply if a major disruption in your destination is outside your control. Two things. First, communication: the more you share about your interests, past travels, and what you are after, the better we can shape the trip. Second, an open mind: our trips bring you close to the places you visit, which means stepping outside your comfort zone, and in some remote destinations we cannot always guarantee premium accommodations. That is part of the trade-off for reaching places few travelers ever do.
