Thirteen days and more than 100 kilometres on foot, from Boa Vista in Brazil across the border into Venezuela and over the Gran Sabana to the only non-technical route up Mount Roraima. A night in the Pemon community at Paraitepuy, then eight nights under canvas, five of them on the summit plateau, which is enough time to reach Gladys Lake in the far north and to give the Triple Point, El Foso and Maverick their own days. No climbing and no altitude acclimatisation, but three long days in a row on top and a thousand-metre ascent. Privately guided, with Pemon porters from the village where the trail begins. A Premium version adds a night by a waterfall in the Gran Sabana on the way home.

What it is Thirteen days with a night at Paraitepuy, five nights on the summit and a direct return to Boa Vista. The same trek with a Boa Vista city tour, the Paraitepuy children's choir, a night at Kama-Meru Lodge and a final day among the waterfalls of the Gran Sabana.
  1. Scheduled departures: price per person for joining a 2027 group departure on the standard expedition. Departures over the New Year season are US$3,315 per person.
  2. Premium expedition: US$3,875 per person on scheduled departures, or US$23,250 for a private group of up to six.

  5. A personal porter carrying up to 15 kg is charged separately and is paid to the Pemon community at Paraitepuy.
  6. Venezuelan entry requirements differ sharply by passport. We confirm yours before booking.
